On Friday I leave for a short three week trip to Kenya.  I love Kenya for it's people, for it's energy and for it's LIFE.  This will be my third trip and I am SO looking forward to it!
I will be working on a photo project, volunteering for a couple children's homes that I love and perhaps most importantly, blogging for We Want Peace.  

Just a little announcement that I am going to Kenya the first three weeks of December!!
i will be doing a variety of things perhaps most notably of which is blogging for We Want Peace.  We Want Peace is an organization started by Emmanuel Jal, a former Sudanese child soldier who has dedicated his life to the mission of spreading peace.  Emmanuel can be seen actually in "The Good Lie" which is currently in select theaters co-starring with Reese Witherspoon.  I will be photographing/interviewing one person per week who is doing good work on the ground and the result will be on the WWP website and pushed out thru various social media sources.  Very excited about it as there is little better than getting a forum to speak to good work done being done!!

I will be doing a few other things all of which are in development but I will leave you with some photos of me and a wee one I fell in love with in 2008.  I just found out I will be seeing her on the 1st and photographing the children's home she lives in.  They are a very small non-profit and can use photographs for their website and Facebook etc. In addition to the photographs I will of course also be bringing toys!! Toys and educational supplies.  Can't wait.
